Peanapple Sandwiches with Granola

Great for a children's lunch or an adult's snack.

Ingredients
  • 2 large apples
  • 1 lemon
  • 4 tablespoons peanut, almond nut or seed butter
  • 4 tablespoons granola
Instructions
  1. Use an apple corer or knife to remove the apple cores.
  2. Cut ½ inch off of the top and bottom of the apples.
  3. Cut the apples crosswise into ½-inch-thick-sllices
  4. Rub the cut sides of the lemon over both sides of the apples to prevent browning.
  5. Spread peanut butter on 4 apple slices
  6. Sprinkle the granola on top.
  7. Cover with the remaining apple slices
