1 tablespoon of minced fresh ginger
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon Mirin (sweet rice wine)
1 1/2 tablespoons of low-sodium Tamari or soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon of dried basil
1 tablespoon of peanut butter (chunky works best but smooth is fine)
Fresh ground black pepper
(Optional - extra tablespoon of water to thin it)
Method
Steps
In a blender or food processor, combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth. Add a little water if you want it a thinner consistency.
Cover and refrigerate until ready to use. Lasts up to one week refrigerated.
