Cooler Corn: Easy Way To Cook Corn For a Crowd, Camping Out or Tailgating

Who knew about cooler corn? Last weekend in Montana we had a crowd of 17 people for a delicious home cooked dinner. My cousin Chris mentioned that he heard of an easy way to cook corn in a cooler, so we gave it a whirl.  All you have to do is shuck your corn, lay it in a BPA-free cooler, cover the corn with boiling water, close the lid, wait thirty minutes and serve. If you are running behind, the corn will remain warm and ready to eat for at least two hours. It couldn't have been any easier, but the best part was the corn was perfectly cooked, warm and delicious. This is also a great idea for tail-gaiters. Make it  at home and by the time you are at the game,  your organic, non-GMO cooler corn is ready to eat!

To keep GMO corn off your plate,  make sure you always buy certified organic sweet corn. Under the regulations of the National Organic Program, Certified Organic farmers are not allowed to plant GMO seeds. You can always make a product verification request at the Non-GMO project. Glysophate, also known as Roundup, used in GMO crops has been linked to many health issues including autism, respiratory illness and sensitivity to gluten.
